provide non-stop connectivity to the International Airport and Dhaula
Kuan in Delhi over a distance of 28 kilometers (18 miles), and includes

instances of a new city that is well planned, marketed and developed. It
is shining example of how world-class infrastructure, work and living
environments can make it a magnet for global business and high quality
professionals. Gurgaon is still developing and expanding and offers a
lot of potential. The high values in the city that parallel Delhi,
Mumbai and Bangalore speak volumes about the quality of real estate but
also temper the prospects of multipliers over the next few years.
Gurgaon is however a place worth considering for investment and to live
and work in.

more are coming in. The business process industry began to grow with
GE's operations and the growth became a magnet for several more
operations in Gurgaon. Gurgaon is today one of the large business
process outsourcing centers in India and continues to expand and grow.
Projections: A SEZ (special Economic zone) is proposal in the
Gurgaon itself and a 135-km Kundli-Manesar-Palwal expressway is being
laid down, once ready it will will connect 4 of Haryana's important
industrial centers, intersect 4 of India's busiest national highways,
will provide better connectivity.

WHY FARIDABAD ?
Location: Faridabad is about 25 Kilometres south of Delhi, is a
major industrial city and population center in Haryana state, northern
India. It is located in Faridabad District. It is bounded by the
National Capital Territory of Delhi on its north, Gurgaon District on

from an auto-rickshaw, buses, and railways. Auto-rickshaws run mainly on

people commuting from other states. Personal cars and two-wheelers have
gradually been increasing since recent years making the city cause of
jams and traffic blocks. Trains stop at three railway stations in
Faridabad connecting Ballabgarh to New Delhi.
Connectivity & Distance: Faridabad fares well among other
cities when it comes to connectivity. The city is just 10 kms away from
Ashram crossing at Mathura Road. It is said that the new flyover over
Badarpur crossing and an expressway linking Palwal, Manesar, Kundli,
Faridabad, Noida and Ghaziabad will provide interconnectivity among
various satellite towns and will further shorten the distance thus
making it sought after location.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Faridabad is being
overhauled, as the government has released a 50-crore fund for Cluster
Development Planning. Infrastructure development is on rapid pace and
soon it would be most sought after location for everyone.

It is home to hundreds of large scale companies like Orient fans
(C.K.Birla Group), JCB India Limited, Agri Machinery Group (Escorts
Limited), Yamaha Motor India Pvt. Ltd., Whirlpool of India Limited.
There are thousands of medium and small scale units as well.
Projections: Metro rail services are likely to reach the city by
2010 as proposed by Delhi government and an express highway, from palwal
to kundli, Badarpur flyover is near to start, as planned by NHAI to make
national highway broad & red light free from Ashram Crossing,
towards Agra. It is said that the new flyover over Badarpur crossing and
an expressway linking Palwal, Manesar, Kundli, Faridabad, Noida and
Ghaziabad will provide interconnectivity among various satellite towns.
Haryana Technology Park (HTP) is an approved SEZ Information Technology
Park, located only 3 kilometers (1.8 miles) from the Delhi - Faridabad
border on National Highway 2. The Park with a total covered area of 1.65
million square feet will have 0.86 million of business space dedicated
to IT/ITES companies. Construction is scheduled to start in September
2006 and will be completed by October 2008.
